Polyurethane-cement coatings are produced based on polyurethane mixed with cement. This is done to increase the strength of the flooring while preserving all the properties of a polyurethane floor.

Polyurethane-cement floors are among the strongest coatings among polymer systems. For many years, this type of industrial flooring has been the most popular among projects implemented by our company. It is most often selected for installation in the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

Main properties of polyurethane-cement flooring

Industrial polyurethane-cement flooring differs from other types of industrial coatings due to its unique properties and characteristics:

Increased chemical resistance
This type of flooring is highly resistant to aggressive chemical agents and substances.

Hygiene and seamless structure
The polyurethane-cement flooring system is monolithic, without joints or seams. It contains the antibacterial additive Polygiene®, which eliminates 99.9% of fungi and bacteria on the surface.

Strength and durability
The minimum service life of polyurethane-cement flooring is 15–20 years.

Impact and wear resistance
It is highly resistant to impact, heavy mechanical loads, and abrasive wear.

Steam resistance
The flooring system withstands daily steam cleaning.

Thermal resistance
High thermal resistance from -40 °C to +120 °C. It also withstands sudden temperature changes and thermal shock without deformation.

Dust-free surface
The floor does not generate dust, is easy to clean, and dries quickly.

Environmental friendliness
During installation and use, it does not emit toxic substances, and its safety is confirmed by international certificates.

It should be noted that polyurethane-cement floors were the first among polymer flooring systems to receive HACCP certification.

Types of polyurethane-cement floors

Our specialists recommend classifying polyurethane-cement floors according to system thickness and the type of finishing layer. The thickness of the industrial floor directly depends on the expected loads and operating conditions.

Floors for light loads
Pedestrian traffic, low-intensity forklift movement, moderate temperatures, no exposure to steam or aggressive chemicals.

Floors for medium and heavy loads
Intensive pedestrian traffic, movement of heavily loaded carts and forklifts, normal temperature conditions, daily cleaning without steam washing.

Floors for high loads
Chemical exposure, continuous forklift traffic, spills of hot liquids and steam exposure, temperature fluctuations, impact loads.

Floors for very high loads
Intensive movement of fully loaded handling equipment, strong mechanical and chemical exposure, hot liquid spills, low (-40°C) and high (+120°C) temperatures, daily cleaning with aggressive chemicals and steam.

Depending on the finishing layer type, polyurethane-cement flooring can be rough or smooth.
