Conecto Dowel products are designed for the construction of expansion joints in industrial concrete floors. Thanks to their unique design, the steel armoured joint profiles serve as permanent formwork during concrete placement while also protecting slab edges throughout the floor's service life.
The Dowel system consists of a steel dowel plate housed within a specially reinforced plastic sleeve. As the concrete shrinks and expands due to temperature changes, the system allows adjacent slabs to move freely in the horizontal direction while preventing vertical displacement.
