As one of the world’s leading producers of fresh and smoked premium salmon products, the facility required an industrial flooring system that would meet the highest standards of cleanliness. In addition, the floor had to withstand an annual production of 17,000 tonnes of fresh salmon, which inevitably results in heavy floor loading, exposure to fish waste and other production by-products, frequent cleaning, thermal shock, and intensive pedestrian traffic.
The client selected the polyurethane system Flowfresh SR, reinforced with an antibacterial component, to ensure a durable and hygienic flooring surface capable of withstanding demanding operating conditions.
